Course

Herzele will be the setting for a new edition of the Omloop het Nieuwsblad for Men U23 on Sunday, May 31st. The peloton will set off at 13:30 for a journey of about 160 kilometers, with 10 climbs and 5 cobbled sectors along the way. The double passage over the Haaghoek - Leberg duo will make for a tough race. With 76 kilometers to go, the Muur - Kapelmuur will herald the start of the finale. The successor to Liam Van Bylen will be crowned around 17:15 in the streets of Herzele.

Liam Van Bylen has won Omloop het Nieuwsblad for Men U23. The Belgian was the fastest in the sprint from a large group and finished ahead of Tobias Muller and Marvin Peters. Van Bylen is the sixth Lotto rider in a row to claim victory in Omloop het Nieuwsblad for Men U23.
