Course
As tradition has it, Omloop het Nieuwsblad will also be the first WorldTour race on European soil in 2024. The Kuipke in Ghent is already getting ready for a major cycling party at the start on Saturday 1 March. After the duo Kerkgate - Jagerij, the Molenberg will open the finale again. At 42 km from the finish, the cobblestone climb in Zwalm is followed by the third passage on the duo Haaghoek-Leberg, which, as tradition dictates, will play a key role in the opening classic. The Berendries is not missing either, before we head towards Geraardsbergen for the finale of Omloop het Nieuwsblad. Will the Muur-Bosberg duo be decisive? Jan Tratnik's successor will be crowned at the finish on the Elisabethlaan in Ninove. Download the timetable and roadmap below.
Start: Emile Clauslaan in Ghent – 11:15
Finish: Elisabethlaan in Ninove – around 15:53
