The race starts at 11.30 am
In Flanders everyone is counting down to the start of the new cycling season: the 66th Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
The program of the day starts at 10:00 am with the presentation of the racers on the Sain-Pieterssquare in Ghent.
At 11:30 am the men's race starts.
The female race starts at 11:25 am at the Blaarmeersen in Ghent.
Both races finish at the Saint-Pieterssquare: the females approximately at 03:00 pm; the men at 04:30 pm.
The cycling circus is coming to Flanders!
It is a nice tradition: with the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad the start of the cycling season in Belgium sets off. The racers show themselves for the first time this season on Belgian roads in their new teamoutfits.
